2008 Submissions Event Now Closed!

Beat Lab 7 producers, Crucial & s.a.i.n.t. jon, would like to thank all the independent singers and rappers who  submitted their music in this year's submission event!  If you are an artist/group and want your music to be considered  for the Beat Lab 7 Compilation "Music Meets The Truth" 2009, the submissions event will reopen June 1, 2008.  Please return to this page at that time, and bring one (or however many) of your best pieces of work with you! (a submissions form will be provided on this page at that time)

Our judges will judge all participants for the following criteria:

1. Style & Ability

2. Wholesome creativity

3. Originality

4. Christ-centered lyrics

Tip: submit songs with the strongest criteria as mentioned above.  Hot beats do not increase your overall chance of making the album.  Beat Lab 7 producers, s.a.i.n.t. jon & Crucial, will be providing all tracks for the compilation, thus making the beat you submit a non-factor in the selection process.

The first ever Beat Lab 7 compilation “Music Meets the Truth” was released February 7^th, 2007, completely FREE  for download.  By the end of 2007 nearly 20,000 people had downloaded the album, making it one of the most downloaded  compilation albums of 2007.  “Music Meets the Truth” continues  to make noise while capturing the attention of  several Christian magazines, radio stations, pod cast shows and other media outlets (please see our   testimonials).
